- This cap is for the clear/white plastic expansion tank at the back of the engine.
- It is NOT a radiator cap.
- (The Expansion cap is found on top of a plastic bottle in the engine bay, it is at the back near the windscreen wipers and to the left of the battery.)

Note:
Never remove the cap from a hot engine, the cap may 'fly off' on releasing and hot coolant will burn your hand, if you must remove the cap, cover the cap with a suitable cloth, lift the cap slowly to release the pressure, then carefully remove the cap, do not put finger in hot coolant.
Older engines use coolant that is Blue/Green later engines use Pink, Pink coolant can be used in older engines but Blue/Green cannot be used in later engines. Never fill the coolant system with just water as the water will freeze and damage the radiator. Always use plenty of coolant.
Top tips
Before Summer check the fan operates as fans can seize over Winter.
If the fan comes on when if feels like or the temperature gauge appears faulty, the Water temperature sensor may be faulty.
