Description:
Optical dust sensor (GP2Y1014AU) is particularly effective in detecting very fine particles, such as cigarette smoke.
An infrared light emitting diode and a phototransistor are diagonally arranged to allow them to detect dust reflected light in the air.
The sensor has a very low current consumption(maximum 20 ma, ma 11 typical), and can carry up to 7 VDC sensors.
The output voltage is proportional to the measured dust concentration, and the sensitivity is 0.5V/0.1mg/m3.
It is a commonly used system of air purifier.
